Eisco Labs Direct Vision Spectroscope in Metal Case

• DIRECT VERSION SPECTROSCOPE || This spectroscope has been designed to let the user look through a slit spectrum of light decomposed by an optical system. The spectra superposition obtained on the graduated scale of the spectroscope, allows the observer to measure the displacement of the spectral lines.
• EASY TO USE || Look to the right-hand side inside the spectroscope and notice the scale. While looking at the scale, tilt the slit end of the spectroscope slowly upwards and downwards until a bright green and violet line appears just underneath the scale, which is superimposed in your field of vision. The scale is marked 400-700 nanometers (nm) to denote the visible spectrum.
• PRODUCT DIMENSIONS || The spectroscope measures 7" x 4.75" x 1.125".

Direct vision spectroscope has a strong housing and is excellent for student use. It has a very bright 600 lines/mm holographic replica granting a very good resolution.

The bright bands of the dominant wavelengths are clearly visible against the scale.
