• Colored oil is gradually pumped from a reservoir into a tube containing air. Whilst the volume of air is read from a scale clearly visible behind the tube, pressure is measured by a Bourdon gauge.
• Bourdon gauge is fitted with a transparent plastic back to allow students to observe its working parts.
