This 500ml separating funnel has a robust pear shaped body with a 3.75" diameter at its widest point. The item measures 9.5" in height when positioned upright and is designed with a glass stopcock that allows optimal control of flow when working with liquids in the lab. The interchangeable plastic 24/29 stopper fits 1.25" opening at the top of the funnel, and the spout measures 3.75" down from the stopcock. The spout has a 3/8" outer diameter and a 1/4" interior diameter.
Autoclavable, with superior chemical durability. Low temperature gradient- can withstand high temperatures & thermal shocks. Eisco Labs Borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances: Strain Point -515°C | Annealing Point 565°C | Softening Point 820°C.
