Pack of 6 Samples

Muscovite mica is a mineral that forms from cooling magma. It forms in thin sheets that are individually weak, but comprehensively strong. Mica is a major component in a plethora of different rocks, including igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. Useful when teaching lessons about physical properties of minerals, as well as Bowen's reaction series. Image shows example of specimen. Shape, specific size and color may vary slightly.
